🌞 August Adventures in the Inland Northwest!

Hey there! Summer's in full swing in Spokane and Coeur d'Alene, and there's no shortage of fun in the sun to be had. My husband and I are super excited—we're expecting our second child in December! So, we're soaking up as much family time as possible before our new addition arrives. Oh, and guess what? We just snagged a fixer-upper on the lake last month. Perfect for some chill days by the water. 🚤💕

Adventure Outdoors

Riverside State Park Hike 🥾

Hit the Bowl and Pitcher trail for jaw-dropping views of the Spokane River and some fun, easy hikes for the whole family.

Float on Spokane River 🛶

Take a dip in the Spokane River in an inner tube or float– if you're feeling adventurous you can always rent gear from local outfitters and go exploring by kayak!

Bike (some) of the Centennial Trail 🚴

Cruise along miles of scenic, paved trails linking Spokane and Coeur d'Alene. If you’re feeling like an overachiever, go for the full 39 miles!🚴

Catch a show downtown. They've got an awesome lineup of concerts, plays, and more this month.

Northwest Museum of Arts & Culture 🖼️

Spend a day learning about the rich history and culture of our region. They have a super cool exhibit dedicated to cars in the 1970’s for anyone with kids (or husbands) obsessed with all things that go vroom vroom.

Silverwood Theme Park 🎢

Looking to escape the heat? Check out Silverwood’s water park, Boulder Beach.
